“Europe must build freedom through renewables. That means no more dependence on fossil fuels or autocrats,” she said. “The Green Deal is not naïve idealism. It is Europe’s plan for sovereignty and the future. Establishing Green strategic autonomy is the path to a secure, democratic, and free Europe”, Vula Tsetsi said. She reaffirmed the Greens’ commitment to fundamental rights, media freedom, and women’s rights, including access to safe abortion, stressing that freedom is protected only when everyone is protected.
