Recent polls place Miljøpartiet De Grønne (MDG) within reach of the vital 4% threshold that would guarantee them proportional representation in parliament. In the 2021 election, MDG came close to crossing that line, with 3.94% and three members of Parliament. The polls now show a close race between the left and the right blocks. MDG points to the Social Democratic party leader as Prime Minister, and by passing the threshold would likely tip the balance in favor of the left side. MDG’s message of “making the PM greener” has resonated with voters, who are rushing to MDG to see more climate action and prevent the far right from winning.

Norway is one of the world’s biggest oil and gas producers, and decisions made in Oslo have far-reaching consequences.”
