The 38th Congress of the European Green Party will take place on 2 December 2023 and will be held entirely online.
The main focus of the day will be the preparation of the common campaign as well as statutory business. This includes the vote on the campaign plan, financial and membership reporting, adoption of the 2024 budget and membership fees, an activity plan 2024, and of course, voting on the tabled resolutions.
We'll also have a pivotal moment where we present the contenders for Lead Candidate for the 2024 EU elections. With the deadline for nominations set for 28 November, this Congress will be the first opportunity for delegates to hear directly from those running for this crucial role. It will be an important milestone as we gear up for the vote on electing our Leading Candidates at the Electoral Congress in Lyon in February 2024.
Additionally, we'll share insights into the EGP Campaign plans and Manifesto, laying the groundwork for what's shaping up to be a critical election year. You can read the programme outline here.
We strongly encourage all Green Party members and delegates to save the date and make plans to attend this Congress, as we make important decisions that will shape our campaign in the run-up to the European Elections.
