on the rights of children from Belarus

That the Council of European Greens, being mindful of the horrific and inter-generational effects of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster and aware of vital role played by the Chernobyl Children’s Project and other similar groups in Ireland and in other countries in providing respite abroad for children from Belarus needing clean food, clear air and medical treatment – calls on the Belarusian President, Mr. Lukachenko not to place restrictions on travel abroad by these children in the interest of their health and life expectancy
