on the natural disaster in Slovakia in November 2004.

We, the delegates of 32 European Green Parties, meeting in Dublin for the first Council of the European Green Party have taken into our consideration the natural disaster in Slovakia which caused large damages on environment in the High Tatras area, hereby show our solidarity for the removal of the negative consequences, and, for this purpose, we urge the European Union, the European Parliament to support financially all the necessary steps which are urgently required for the restoration of the environment there. 

We ask the competent authorities of the Greens in the European Parliament to take steps necessary to speed up the process of restoration and rehabilitation of the above mentioned area.
