Global Greens Secretariat

COUNCIL mandates the Committee to proceed to establish at the earliest date the Global Green Secretariat as foreseen in the Resolution “Next Steps for Global Greens” adopted at the second GG Congress in Sao Paulo in May 2008, on the following basis:-

1. In agreement with the other constituent GG Federations, based on the structure, roles and functions of the GG Co-ordination and GG Secretariat set out in Table 1 attached.

2.The Secretariat shall be located in Australia in the first instance.

3.Satisfactory financing mechanisms are to be in place to meet the initial budget set out in Table 2 attached.

4. The functioning of the Secretariat shall be reviewed two years after its establishment.
