Vula Tsetsi, co-chair of the European Green Party comments:
“Vesna – Green Party has, in a very short time, established itself as an important voice of Green ideas in Slovenia. We are delighted to see a promising cooperation forming on the ground among Green and Progressive forces in Slovenia. We wish good luck to The Left - Vesna – Green Party coalition for next year’s parliamentary election. The European Green family together with its members, like Vesna, will continue to stand up for environmental protection, an economy focused on care and the people, and stronger and more robust democracies, as we have done recently in Serbia.”
Urša Zgojznik, co-chair of Vesna – Green Party comments:
“For Vesna, the European Green Party’s endorsement confirms our work and our direction. Vesna being part of the European Green family means that Slovenia’s voice is heard and will continue to be heard in a community striving for a just and sustainable future with more solidarity. I am convinced that, with joint efforts, we will also strengthen the Green breakthrough at home.”
Vesna – Green Party was founded in February 2022, has been an Associate Member of the European Greens since 2023.
