On 22 March, the EGP Social Justice Lab was held in Zadar, Croatia, a dynamic event focused on political workshops centred on social rights, with a particular focus on young people’s access to them. The event brought together activists, political voices, and young Greens from across Europe to critically examine what social justice means today, and how policies can better serve the next generation.
During the day-long event the participants explored how social justice is defined, where current systems fall short, and how to build fairer, more inclusive societies through a Green lens. From affordable housing to youth employment and access to mental health services, the conversations were grounded in lived experience and policy realities.
EGP Co-Chair Vula Tsetsi and Committee Member Jelena Miloš both contributed to the discussions, offering insights on how Greens are fighting for justice across Europe and engaging directly with young participants in an open, informal exchange. Their presence sparked lively dialogue and inspired new ideas for action.
As Greens, we know that tackling inequality means listening to those most affected - and in Zadar, we took another important step in doing just that.
