Join us for an evening discussion with Member of the European Parliament Bas Eickhout, one of the two Leading Candidates for President of the European Commission for the European Green Party! At the event, we will discuss elements of the common manifesto of the European Green Party as well as the priorities of the Greens for the 2024 European Parliamentary elections.
Bas, who is often described as the most influential MEP in the Greens/EFA group, has served three terms in the European Parliament and is currently Vice-Chair of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. He has been actively involved in the modernisation of the European economy and industry - something we all surely see as a major issue today. Let us look at this modernisation in detail, from a European and Green perspective.
Bas will be joined by the talented Johanna Nejedlová, the leading candidate of the Czech Greens for the European Parliamentary elections. Johanna is a human rights activist with a green heart who has collected many awards for her work. She was included in the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the Czech Republic and she is determined to become the face of a new generation of politicians and the first ever Czech Green MEP.
The discussion will be moderated by the "trendspotter" Pavlina Louženská.
