We host a Congress once a year, where delegates from our member parties meet to set our political direction. They also vote on resolutions, membership to the party and the elected bodies within the organisation. The location of each Council is different, and takes place in various cities throughout Europe.

Extraordinary Congress

An additional Extraordinary Congress can be called by the European Greens.

Extended Congress

Our Extended Congress is an enlarged meeting which meets at least once every 5 years. The purpose of an Extended Congress is to unite a larger part of the Green family in the decision-making process and to allow a greater representation of members. An Extended Congress develops and strengthens the European Greens and the Green family at large.
