Venue
Address: Neubaugürtel 34-36, 1070 Wien, Austria.
The hotel situated nearby the Neubau area was built in 1871 for the Vienna World’s Fair. With its imposing architecture and glass corner windows reminiscent of the bow of the ships docked at the Danube marina. The city centre is only a twenty-minute walk away.

Vienna has a well-developed public transport network with five underground lines, 29 tram and 127 bus lines, of which 24 are night lines (operating between 0.30 am and 5 am). On weekends and public holidays the Vienna underground remains at the service of its passengers all night. A single ticket costs EUR 2.40 (or EUR 2.60 if purchased on board of trams).
Tickets can be purchased from the following points:
- Ticket machines at most underground stations
- Tobacco shops
- On board the of trams at an increased rate of EUR 2.60 per ticket. Please note: Coins might be needed to purchase ticekts from the machines on trams. The transport authority is migrating to multilingual ticket machines for trams with cashless payment options, but this may take a while before every vehicle has converted.
- Wiener Linien Online Shop or the WienMobil app for iOS or Android
Validating tickets
Tickets must be validated before boarding. To validate your ticket stamp the ticket at the blue machines located at the entrance of underground stations as well as on buses and trams. Tickets bought directly from the tram or bus driver are automatically validated and need not be stamped again. Each stamped single ticket is valid up to the destination, including multiple transfers.
