Historic Pispala walk with Satu Hassi
Join our local MP Satu Hassi for a walk around her home area Pispala, an iconic part of Tampere. Pispala is perched on a hill overlooking the two lakes and has got a very unique character thanks to its narrow streets, quaint little houses and the famous Pispala stairs.
When? Sunday 10.11. 15:00 at the Pyynikki Obervation tower. Please wear weather-appropriate shoes and clothes.
Meeting point? Meet our volunteers at the main entrance of Tampere Hall at 14:20 for a bus ride to Pyynikintori (single cash fare €3,50 or use the Nysse mobile application). Alternatively meet everyone at Pyynikintori 14:45, or at the observation tower at 15:00.
Bus number 2 takes you to Pyynikintori (terminus), the stop is on the opposite side of the road from Tampere Hall.

Satu Hassi, Member of Finnish Parliament Satu Hassi was elected to the Tampere City Council from the first ever Green list in 1984 and later on became a Green MP, leader of the Green parliamentary group and a Minister for Environment. She has also been the leader of the Green Party in Finland and served as a MEP for 10 years. She is currently an MP and the Chair of the Grand Committee at the Finnish parliament. She is also a writer and has published several books
