Iiris Suomela, Member of Parliament, Finland
Ms. Iiris Suomela is the youngest Member of the Finnish Parliament. She is the Chair of the Parliamentary Feminist Group and also the Vice Chair of Tampere City Council. For years now Iiris has become known as a dedicated human rights activist and speaker of equality issues. Her other interests hold theories of macroeconomics and international politics.
Reinhard Bütikofer, Co-chair of the European Green Party
Reinhard Bütikofer,is a Co-Chair of the European Green Party since 2012 and is a Member of the European Parliament for the German Green party Bündnis 90/Die Grünen since 2009.
He served as co-leader of the German Greens from 2002 to 2008, and as the party’s secretary general from 1998 to 2002. He was a member of the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament from 1988 to 1996.
In the European Parliament he sits on the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and is a substitute member of the Committee on International Trade (INTA). Besides the Committees, he is chairing the Delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China (EU-CN), and he is a member of the Delegation for relations with the United States (EU-US).
Mr. Bütikofer is a member of the General Assembly and of the Europe/Transatlantic advisory board of the Böll Foundation. He is a member of NABU, of the EFM board, of ver.di, of Deutsch-Israelische Gesellschaft, of the German-Chinese Dialogue Forum, and of DGAP.

Maria Ohisalo, Minister of the Interior, Finland and Party Leader of the Finnish Greens
Before being elected as Party Leader and before becoming Minister, Maria was Deputy Party Leader and Member of the Finnish Parliament. She has held different political positions, such as member of the Helsinki City Council and Member of the Helsinki City Executive. She is a Doctor of Social Sciences (Poverty Researcher) and has worked at the University of Eastern Finland and Y-foundation as a researcher.
