New Finish policy for elderly people
After parliamentary elections in April a new Government was created in Finland by Social Democrats, Greens, Left Alliance and Swedish Party. The new coalition's programme, published in May, is very ambitious on the environment and prevention of climate change. Moreover, the programme takes seriously the situation and the needs of the eldely. Reino Lampinen - member of the Board of ENGS, and former chair of the Aged Greens in Finland - will present the aims and promises of the Finnish Government, as concerns fair and equal treatment across generations, fostering an age-friiendly society and reforming social security. All participants are welcome to discuss and tell us about the situation and the promises in their countries.
