Friday, 3 June
13:00-14:30 (EEST)
Room: Sigma
In light of the global changes we are facing, the EGP has deemed it necessary to develop a common position on a green trade policy for the whole European Green Family. A Trade Discussion Group (with experts from many member parties) has been created earlier this year, and the aim of this session is to present the state of play of the draft trade policy paper and invite other member parties to join the discussion in order to contribute to the final trade policy paper, which delegates will be voting on during the next EGP Congress (December 2022).
The session will be an interactive discussion where we will pose some key questions to the participants to acquire an indicative understanding on the main points that a green trade policy should tackle. The participants will be able to follow the discussion offline and online in order to guarantee the participation of the members of the discussion group who are not able to attend the meeting in Riga.
