18:00-19:00
Room: Beta
Part of The European Greens' Trans-inclusive feminist campaign one of our goals is to provide a platform for our member parties to learn and share experiences on how to make the Green parties more inclusive from the inside out.
That's why we're dedicating the Queer and Gender Networks' session to discuss tools that can help us build more inclusive and safe spaces for trans, non-binary and other rainbow communities. One of those is the Code of Conduct which serves as a useful tool to build political parties' organizational resilience, prevent integrity violations and provide guidance on internal governance. It's a tool to build a safer and more inclusive way to do politics for parties' members and representatives.
As part of the EGP's research on the Code of Conduct best practices, we lay out a list of green values which could be integrated into codes of conduct and elaborate more on the gender equality and diversity aspects.
This session will be moderated by: Mar Garcia, with the contributions of:
- Emma Cuthbertson (Scottish Greens)
- Mina Jack Tolu (Maltese Greens and ex FYEG)
- Alex Deval (French Greens)
- Anne Vernooij (Dutch Greens)
- Carlotta Weber (EGP)
