Our positions

Greens in government in Belgium, Germany and Ireland have worked on unprecedented energy packages to secure energy independence and fast-track the green transition. These packages battle rising energy bills, enhance energy efficiency, invest in renewables and phase out fossil fuels.

At the Greening from the Ground Up Conference on 7-8 May in Valencia, mayors and local councillors got together to exchange best practices and experiences towards building more resilient municipalities and regions - signing a pledge signalling their commitment!

As part of the Green Screen project, which engages citizens in contemporary issues through films and debates, we explored Ukraine's fight for sovereignty. This month, we featured the film 'Maidan' and held a debate on the Maidan Revolution and the political and social demands of the people of Ukraine.
