Dritan Abazović, president of our member party URA and Prime Minister of Montenegro since April 2022, is driving huge changes in a small Balkan country. URA was established in 2015 and represents all ethnicities and stands for a European, ecological and democratic Montenegro. Abazović's plans for Montenegro include ridding the country of corruption and pursuing a pro-European agenda.

Greens hold action against TTIP
Body:

The Greens oppose the terms of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agenda. To demonstrate the dangers of TTIP being used to lower standards across the EU, a public action was held this morning in the heart of Brussels during the EU-US Summit, with our Green leading candidate Ska Keller, and her fellow Green MEPs Ulrike Lunacek (AT), Bart Staes (BE), Philippe Lamberts (BE), Rebecca Harms (DE) and Sven Giegold (DE). The Greens had one message: TTIP must be on our terms. Standards that protect European citizens must not be put at risk.

The Dutch green party GroenLinks organises a conference in the former stock exchange building in Amsterdam. The event will focus on our green way our of the Eurocrisis, with two panel discussions and keynote speeches by prominent greens.
