Zuzanna and Alex are two members of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) and since Monday they are travelling by train through Europe. Their aim is to spread awareness about climate change and to bring to action more local green activists ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
After four intensive days in Warsaw and Berlin, where they met a community of consumers supporting organic farmers, a food cooperative and a wind energy company, our two young travellers have left yesterday Eastern Europe. This morning they arrived in Venice, where they will have several meetings about urban planning, pollution and green businesses.
In the next six days, our two Climate-goodwill-ambassadors will be travelling through three other European cities (Barcelona, Lisbon and Paris). On their path, they will keep interviewing activists, cooperatives and business people committed to Green policies and active in several fields, from energy transition to sustainable food production, from youth unemployment to transport. The 'interviewees' will be all asked to share their personal #Climatemoment.
Until September 24 new inspiring stories, photos and videos will be added to the page #Climatemoment Interrail. Feel like joining? Share your #Climatemoment with us through Facebook and Twitter!
You can follow our young Green friends also through the social media, where you will find regular updates and impressions from the trip (on Twitter: Alex Falconer @SystemError_UK and Zuzana Pavelkova @ZuzanaPlk).
