When: Saturday, 11 May, 16.15-17.45

Where: NH Eurobuilding, Calle Padre Damián 23, 28036 Madrid, Spain (Room Amsterdam)

This working session on the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2014-2020 will be focused on analysing the deal negotiated by the Heads of State and Governments done on February the 8th during the extraordinary European Council (960 billion for 2014-2020 representing almost 9% cut); on discussing the negotiations between the European Parliament and the Council on the key points (overall amount, flexibility, own resources, post-electoral revision clause) after the rejection of the deal by the EP in its resolution voted by 506 MEPs on March the 13th; on debating on the Greens-EFA group's negotiating position on the MFF and on debating with the national Green delegations on how to improve the deal at both national and European levels and how to communicate on this. Thus, the resolution on MFF to be voted during the EGP congress will be also part of the discussion (link).

The MFF might become a topic for the forthcoming European elections, thus it will be interesting and important to exchange among the green delegates this sensitive issue and, if possible or needed, define a common understanding and communication on this matter.
