GND WG – Communicating and campaigning around the social dimension

When: Saturday, 11 May 2013, 16.15-17.45

Where: NH Eurobuilding Hotel, Calle Padre Damián 23, Madrid

Moderator: Philippe Lamberts MEP

Over the last 2,5 years, the Green New Deal working group worked towards a common position on the social dimension of the Green New Deal. In a very constructive and collaborative spirit, we agreed upon important principles and policy proposals on green jobs, fighting against poverty and inequalities, social innovation, working time and pensions systems. Now the challenge is to have our messages reaching a broader audience before the 2014 elections.

This session is aimed at developing communication and campaign ideas around those topics. Which ideas do we want to highlight? How can we target various audiences? How to use this 30 pages long paper for citizen-friendly communication? How to link this paper with the rest of the 2014 campaign? etc.

You'll find here the current adopted paper and a short summary of its content.
