27th Council Meeting in Karlstad
Welcome to Karlstad, Sweden!
While it seems like it's still far away, we already want to urge you to start booking your travels to Karlstad soon. There are several ways to reach the city, and to make it easier for you, we listed them here.
Travel options to Karlstad:
- Via Frankfurt:
There are two direct flights from Frankfurt to Karlstad daily: at 9:50 and 19:00. See the website of BMI Regional for dates, times and prices. This flight also makes a stop in Jönköping, but you can stay onboard, and it will continue to Karlstad.
These planes can carry maximum 50 people, so you should be quick in booking your tickets, or else they'll be full.
- Via Stockholm:
Fly to Stockholm, and take the train to Karlstad. There are regular trains from Stockholm Central station to Karlstad Central station, and it takes about 2,5 hours. You can find the exact times and prices on the website of the Swedish Railways. The best way to get from the airport in Stockholm (Arlanda) to the central station is with the Arlanda Express, and takes 20 minutes. More information on their website.
There is also the possibility to fly between Stockholm and Karlstad, there are 4 flights per day (at 8:05, 14:50, 18:15, and 21:40). Also, these planes are very small, and can carry up to 33 persons. More information on times and prices on the website of Next Jet.
- Via Oslo:
Regular high speed trains run between Oslo and Karlstad as well, and take about 2,5 hours. Find all the times and prices on the website of the Swedish Railways.
