In this session, we'll have a discussion with representatives of two Green parties which have been in government. They will explain more about their experiences, and you have the chance to ask them all the questions you have.
Minister of Education, Sweden
Gustav Fridolin is the current Sweidsh Minister of Education since 2014 and the Swedish Green Party's co-spokesperson since 2011. He is also a journalist, author and teacher by profession. Among others, he has also authored the book "Machines and men - writings on labour and belief in the future". Gustav Fridolin is a member of the Swedish parliament since the 2010 election, representing Skåne County North and East. He was also a member of the Swedish parliament from 2002 to 2006 and co-spokesperson of the Young Greens of Sweden between 1999 and 2003.
Alternate Minister for Agriculture, Greece
Yannis Tsironis is a Greek politician and activist. He is a member of the Ecologist Greens and their current spokesperson. From 27 January to 28 August 2015, he served as the Alternate Minister of Environment and Energy in the First Cabinet of Alexis Tsipras, as part of an electoral alliance between the Ecologist Greens and Syriza. He resumed this role on 23 September 2015, as part of the Second Cabinet of Alexis Tsipras.
