Tuesday, 12 October, 2021 - 19:00 to 20:00

Dear Green friends,

Germany has voted, and we are probably going to witness many changes.

Our fellow German Greens achieved an historic result, winning 14.8% and almost doubling the number of their MPs in the Bundestag, now counting 118 Green Members of parliament. They have won 16 direct mandates!

But what does this mean for the general political landscape and where do Greens stand after the elections?

How are the governmental negotiations going and what are the stakes that the German Greens are putting on the table?

We would like to invite you to a background discussion with Jamila Schäfer, vice-spokesperson of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and newly elected Member of the German parliament, who also won the first direct mandate in Bavaria ever for the Greens.

Date: October 12th

Time: 7-8pm CEST
