Transnational 'no' to the Lyon-Turin tunnel

Greens from both sides of the Alps came together at a press conference in Paris on Monday (19/01) to firmly oppose the planned Lyon-Turin high-speed rail project (Treno Alta Velocità, TAV). The new railline, which would be financed by the EU, comes with a prohibitive price tag and considerable environmental damage.
