Local elections in Croatia.
Although we only spend few hours with them, it nevertheless gave me a first little insight into their work, their history and the topics on which they are working. Every stop had its specialty, its personality, its events.
Though "tiredness" is the wrong term. Already the past days have been so intense. We have learnt a lot from our partner parties, about the issues that they are concerned by and have tried to give our input where we felt it to be helpful.
The event is part of a series of GEF discussions at the national level on the topic of the future of Europe.

The EGP are heading to Athens by train. The journey is an opportunity to meet with Green members, campaigners, activists and offices staff en route as we head to the 17th EGP Council in Athens. It all starts on October 31 and arrives in Athens on November 7. You can also follow us on Facebook.
GEF, in cooperation with the Heinrich Boell Stiftung (Zagreb) office, is organising a Green Academy in Vis, Croatia from August 28th - September 2nd. The Academy will focus on advancing the Commons as a new interpretative paradigm for asserting democratic control. This will involve discussing alternative visions of prosperity, growth and development.
