Due to recent events, we have to talk more and more about the issue of violent radicalisation and terrorism. 
These issues concern some major European cities, which are regular targets of attacks. 

As a follow-up to the Foreign Affairs Working Group meeting held in Brussels on 18 February 2016 which was focused on the current situation of the Syrian conflict and possible post-conflict management strategies, in Utrecht we would like to tackle the conflict from a different angle. We would like in particular to analyse what impact the Syrian war which started already more than 5 years ago, is having on its neighbouring countries, namely Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.
