The draft Minutes of the Copenhagen Council will be presented for adoption at the autumn Council, planned to take place in Athens, 9-11 November.
2011 saw the further deepening of the economic and financial crisis and cracks in the construction of the Eurozone became more and more visible. Moreover, to the surprise of many, the trust in the European Union as such suddenly appeared less solid than seemed possible.
The relationship of FYEG and EGP should aim to strengthen the green movement in Europe. FYEG and EGP will work together on a common Green project for Europe. They will do so with the other green actors, cooperating in campaigns, projects, meetings, actions and institutional work based on mutually agreed common priorities. One of which will be the strengthening of EGP and FYEG.
Memorandum on Accounts for 2011
We have a positive outcome of 2011, the total result of the year is before reservations a surplus of 381 572 !. In Tallinn last year we decided to make a provision of 125 000 ! to our funds. If we deduct that we still have 256 572 ! as surplus. The surplus emanates partly from the fact that we had an extra income in the carry-over of 240812 ! from 2010 since we did not change the budget accordingly. But we also have a small income surplus on our own resources of 27136 ! compared to budget.
