Resolution adopted at the EGP Council, Helsinki, 5-7 May 2006. (.pdf)
At the moment when enlarged Europe starts to exist, it is fundamental for the EGP to launch a strong initiative to allow youth to have a better understanding of the stakes of the European cooperation and to enjoy the benefits of a truly transnational culture.
For that, the EGP, in its project for 2009, will propose to:
• Strengthening the European and global dimension in national education programs.
• promote education to ecology by specific courses in all the member States.
• harmonize the system of diplomas.
• increase fivefold the number of European students having the benefit of a “Erasmus”, “Socrates” or “Leonardo” grant.
