I Verdi Europei esprimono soddisfazione per la futura collaborazione con il Sindaco di Milano

“In un'intervista a La Repubblica, il sindaco di Milano, Giuseppe Sala, ha dichiarato la sua volontà di collaborare con i Verdi Europei per fare di Milano una città leader nella transizione ecologica e nella lotta per la giustizia sociale e climatica.  

La co-presidente Evelyne Huytebroeck e il membro dell’Esecutivo Vula Tsetsi hanno così commentato:

"Il Partito Verde Europeo accoglie con favore le parole del Sindaco di Milano, con il quale siamo aperti ad avviare sinergie e collaborazioni, per dare soluzioni ecologiche - e quindi eque, giuste e sostenibili - alle conseguenze della crisi attuale. La dichiarazione del Sindaco, a qualche giorno dalla creazione della nuova componente ecologista "Facciamo Eco" fondata  in Parlamento da Rossella Muroni con il sostegno dei Verdi italiani, lancia un chiaro segnale: l'Italia è pronta per una forte e ambiziosa svolta ecologista.

Pensiamo sia un ottimo segnale che il sindaco di una città così importante, che sarà anche la sede dei negoziati pre-COP 26 in autunno, punti a trasformarla in un laboratorio ecologista, poiché è dalle città e dai governi locali che si può innescare la trasformazione del modello di sviluppo necessaria per rendere le nostre società resilienti alle crisi presenti e future."
