About the Position:
The HR & well-being assistant will be responsible for providing support in HR processes such as recruitment and onboarding, with organization of staff trainings and team buildings, and similar. With the rest of the team, the employee will be able to contribute to the development and implementation of HR processes and procedures in EGP. HR & well-being assistant should support EGP to stay up to date with the latest developments and changes in Belgian socio-legal landscape.
The HR assistant will work with the Director of Internal Organization and Personnel.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Assisting the Director of Internal Organization and Personnel in various tasks;
- Support in different recruitment processes: publication of vacancies, contacts with candidates, drafting contracts, etc.
- Coordination of onboarding process and welcoming of the new colleagues, as well as offboarding;
- Support to different HR processes in coordination with administration unit: administrative tasks around holidays, sick-leaves, educational leaves, etc.
- Support in development and implementation of internal process and procedures, incl. drafting internal guides and documents
- Organization of office and unit retreats, collective trainings and team buildings for staff and ensuring follow-up (incl. keeping overview of trainings attended by staff)
- Support in organization of and follow up from employee's surveys on well-being at work
- Follow updates in the Social law and per need attend info sessions organized by the social secretariat
- Take additional tasks, whenever appropriate, in the interest of the service.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Working experience in the field of human resources
- Education in line with the function
- Knowledge of the Belgian labor regulations
- Very good English and of at least one official language in Belgium (French, Dutch)
- Good people skills, ability to work independently and in multi-cultural teams
Assets
- Knowledge of additional European languages
- Experience in working with human resources in Belgian organizations
- Knowledge of the EGP and its functioning

- A part-time position (25 hours per week) with flexible working hours, with internal policy for teleworking and occasional work from abroad
- Limited duration contract, until December 2024, with a possibility to extend

Work location
