Resolution adopted at the EGP Council, Dublin, 26-28 November 2004 (.pdf)
Marine environment is extremely sensitive technogenic influence. European seas are under growing industrial pressure. Green networking in Mediterranean, North Sea and Baltic is important tool to prevent further environment degradation and non-sustainability in marine regions.
Adriatic Sea is still relatively clean, but seriously endangered with international industrial initiatives, intensive tourism and coastal infrastructures problems. It is also area of multicultural coexistence signed with political complexities. Greens can and should play the role of harmonising factor there.
EFGP asbl welcomes creation of Green Adriatic Network initiated by East-West Green Dialogue participants and consider its further development in EFGP asbl frame as important direction of European Greens activities
