Green Parties' members only
The Green Campaign Handbook is delighted to host a capacity-building workshop at the Congress. Politicians from the Green circles will share insights into their experiences with:
- Coordinating street stands and activists during a campaign
- Inclusive campaigning and engaging civil society in the party's policy-making
- Door knocking (canvassing) and other innovations for municipal election campaigns
- Low-budget campaigning - creative campaigning
- Organising nationwide primary elections as a form of participatory democracy
- Organising a campaign trail, choosing messages and tactics for presidential elections
This world-café style session aims at strengthening the capacities of member parties to campaign with limited resources. Through multiple rounds of conversations in small groups, it will allow participants to exchange successful tactics and foster an understanding of political parties in different countries. This session will provide space for parties to share their lessons learned from recent campaigns. The following politicians will provide input and host the group discussions:
- Aleksandra Koleczek, Board Member, Partia Zieloni (Poland)
- Felix von Wohlgemuth, Local Councilor and Party Leader, Verdi - Grüne - Vërc (Italy, South Tyrol)
- Gábor Hanák, International Secretary and former Board Member, LMP (Hungary)
