Repair stand

How many times did you break your smartphone and get a new one instead because you did not realise that you could either repair it yourself or give it to a repair shop? On Friday 1st, October (from 10:00 to 18:00) and Saturday 2nd from 10:00 -13:00, you will finally get a phone check-up enabling you to know what can be easily fixed and how to best fix it.

Walter Ruggeri, professional repairer, will check-up your smartphone, while telling you more about how to recognize good refurbished devices, how to give away your smartphone without giving out all of your data and how to fix a broken smartphone yourself. Meanwhile, our Digital Rights Campaigner, Narmine Abou Bakari, will help you familiarize yourself with the Greens/EFA’s campaign against the use and throw away culture. You will even be able to tell us more about what you actually do to ensure an effective Right to Repair.

Come and bring your smartphone along for a check-up!
