Our policy is as follows:

• We protect the confidentiality of any personal information you share with us, unless we are required to report it by federal election laws.
• Our website and email campaigns will sometimes involve  contacting officials using , for example, petitions and letters. To this end, we collect names and mailing addresses from users who choose to post directly on action pages, or sign petitions we provide for users.
• The Green Party collects two types of information about users: optional and/or voluntary information that users provide; and their direct participation in activities such as petitions, letters and donations.
• All other individual traffic behaviour on our website is NOT recorded.

About the confidentiality of recipients who receive emails through our tell-a-friend feature:

• We will NOT collect personally identifiable information which our users divulge about other people, such as the information provided in our tell-a-friend feature. The tell-a-friend feature is provided solely for the purpose of assisting visitors who choose to help spread the word about the Green Party.

Your Privacy:

• We DO NOT share your personal information with other organisations UNLESS you explicitly grant us permission to do so.
• Online donors may choose whether or not to have their name and address shared with other advocacy organisations at the time of their donation, or at any time thereafter.
• You may change your position as to whether or not you wish to receive Green Party communications at any time.

Protecting Your Information:

• Our Web site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under our control. Our servers are located in a locked, secure environment.
• The Green Party will not share your information with any third-party organisation without your explicit permission to do so. Personal information you provide is stored in a secure location and is accessible only by designated staff.
• We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement.

Modifying Donor Email list Information:

• To protect your privacy as a donor, we do not provide a means to update your information online. If you need to correct the information you have provided us, please send an emailto info@europeangreens.org. If you need to change your email address on a mailing list, you can unsubscribe from our mailing lists and sign up again using your new information. Please contact GPHQ--at--gp.org for more information regarding mailing lists.

Opting In

• Our mailing list software requires a positive confirmation from the E-mail address owner, confirming the E-mail address exists and that somebody using it does want to receive email from the EGP.

Opting Out

• At any time, if you do not wish to receive updates via email or other communications from the EGP, you can remove your name from our mailing list by sending us an email with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line.
